I am often intrigued by the philosophy of “providing the most magnificent settings for individuals to voice oneself” (feel free to share your thoughts on this):
Which voice would be better heard, rather than ‘well-listened to’, by the entire nation?
In what language or media should this voice be vocalized?
Through what tone, form, or shape could this voice be best mellowed out? Should the voice of silence even be a choice?
Today, I chose the “voice of silence” honoring the work of the architect “Zaha Hadid” as she left this physical world four years ago today, on the 31st of March. She was a courageous and tenacious woman that was ahead of her time, and for that, I give her the most extended bow in silence as her works speak volumes. In 2015, with tremendous pride, I took the role as the Director of Facility Management of KAPSARC in Riyadh, an iconic building designed by Hadid. Long working hours don’t matter when you‘re in the vicinity of such a structure, feeling mesmerized by the beautiful architecture that surrounds you.
